Ten years after the luxurious Bal des Roses, and following the Bois de Rose, Rose Dior Bagatelle and Rose Dior Pré Catelan collections, the RoseDior fine jewelry collection has paid a poetic and colorful tribute to Christian Dior’s favorite flower.

Scents reminiscent of childhood
“Besides women, flowers are the most divine creations. They are so delicate and charming (…)” wrote Christian Dior. The rose in particular had that childhood scent found in the garden of the family home in Granville, where the fashion designer loved to tend his mother’s rose garden. Victoire de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Joaillerie, has great memories this wonderful paradise. The RoseDior collection, featuring 54 pieces of fine jewelry, reflects the entire world of gemstones, in terms of luxury, variety and color, and the resplendent radiance of a diamond.

Colorful bouquets
The combination of three golds – white, pink and yellow, along with the textures of polished and brushed gold highlights the contrast of textures, sculpting the material to create a natural shape. Each piece boasts majestic diamonds both bright and discreet, gently sprinkled on the branches, leaves and the edge of the petals, like a layer of frost. They highlight a graceful gold filigree, and bring a hint of radiance to a powder pink spinel, a deep sapphire, forest colored garnets and azure tourmalines. An abundance of illuminating brilliant-cut diamonds of various sizes, such as princess, emerald and navette, combined in a random mosaic, typical of the Dior style of Jewelry.

Enchanted Roses
These festive colored roses enraptured by the diamond represent an admirable collection. Placed in the very heart of these necklaces made of ornate branches of brushed gold, they are embellished by a mat golden finish. On a necklace, diamond beads like dewdrops, embrace the neck and hold a flower with a luminous pear-shaped pink spinel.

On this necklace, made entirely of diamonds, the openwork provides this sublime, refined rose with a frosted effect. In the center, a pure emerald-cut 4.14 carat diamond is placed at an angle, as a tribute to the imagination of Victoire de Castellane, whose only passions are quirkiness and asymmetry.

A signature found on the secret watch is another iconic piece of the collection, which boasts pink sapphire petals bordered with diamonds and a sumptuous emerald cut diamond set at an angle as its centerpiece. The diamond resembles a “water mirror”, so cherished by the designer.

With her usual audacity and impertinence, Victoire de Castellane highlights this sparkling, incredibly elegant diamond in all its incarnations from majestic to flamboyant, discreet and scattered, enhancing all colored gemstones.
